Project Description and Impact

We are a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Hanoi, Vietnam with a strong focus on developing the capacity of young people to effect change in society. Since our establishment and legal registration in 2009, we have successfully implemented a wide range of community projects to improve the livelihood, education, and well-being of Vietnamese people through sustainable development.

We are seeking a web developer to create a WordPress site for us and provide training to our team to be able to maintain it long after the Experteer leaves. You will be working in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Accommodation

We will provide accommodation, meals, and local transport along with airport pickup and dropoff. We will also provide an orientation training program.

You will be living in shared accommodation with other volunteers in Hanoi. Upgraded accommodation can be provided for an additional charge if requested.

The Volunteer House is located within an attractive neighborhood approximately 40 minutes from Hanoi city centre. Rooms will be shared (four to six per room) and all rooms have air conditioning. The bathroom is shared and has a western style toilet and hot shower. The house has a communal kitchen with a fridge, oven and washing machine. There is also a lounge where you can hang out. Wi-Fi is also available in certain parts of the house including the communal area and there is a communal computer you can use.

All your transport during your time in Hanoi is included. This will range from buses, minivans, taxis and trains. Please note if you plan to go out in the evenings or undertake any trips not part of the project then you will need to cover the cost of this transport yourself.

Food Stipend

You will be provided with three meals per day throughout the duration of your time on the project.

Vietnamese cuisine is famous throughout the world – and for good reason. The meals provided are typical Vietnamese dishes. Food in Vietnam consists of a lot of rice, so be prepared! We can cater to all dietary requirements and tastes.
