Project Description and Impact
LAFF is a small UK-registered charity supporting access to education for young people from rural and remote communities in Cusco, Peru. With limited staff capacity and growing responsibilities, we need stronger financial oversight at Board level to ensure accountability, transparency, and compliance with UK charity regulations. A Finance Trustee will provide the expertise needed to safeguard resources, maintain robust governance, and help LAFF achieve its mission sustainably.
Learning Opportunity
By joining LAFF as Finance Trustee, the experteer will gain experience in charity governance, international development, and cross-cultural collaboration. They will learn how small grassroots organizations operate in a global context, balancing UK charity requirements with on-the-ground realities in Peru. They will also have the opportunity to apply their financial expertise to drive tangible social impact in education, while working alongside a committed international team.
