Social Impact Project for Women Economic Empowerment with Soft Loan

How This Works

As part of the TRANSFORM Support Hub, you will learn how to advance your career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.

Project Description and Impact

Our organization is focused on advancing women’s economic empowerment in underserved communities. Many women in our region have the skills and drive to succeed but lack access to the financial resources, training, and support systems they need to start or grow small businesses. To bridge this gap, we provide soft loans and entrepreneurship support to help them build sustainable livelihoods and uplift their families.

To expand our impact, we are currently constructing a women’s resource center — a dedicated space where women can access business training, mentorship, digital tools, and peer support. This center is a crucial step in creating a lasting ecosystem of empowerment and economic opportunity.

However, as a growing organization, we face challenges in areas like fundraising, strategic planning, and developing sustainable financial models. We are seeking support to strengthen our capacity — especially in preparing for investor engagement, scaling our programs, and ensuring that our resource center becomes a vibrant, well-managed hub for change.

With the right mentorship, we believe we can take this project to the next level and unlock greater opportunities for the women we serve.

Learning Opportunity

By working with us, the experteer will gain first-hand insight into the realities and resilience of grassroots social entrepreneurship, especially in the context of women’s economic empowerment in underserved communities. They’ll have the opportunity to engage deeply with a mission-driven team that is passionate, adaptive, and committed to creating lasting change.

This experience offers a chance to understand how small-scale, community-based initiatives operate — from designing inclusive financial models like soft loans to building infrastructure like a resource center with limited resources but unlimited determination.

The experteer will also learn how cultural context shapes entrepreneurship, leadership, and community development. It’s a chance to witness impact in real time, collaborate closely with local change-makers, and apply their expertise in a setting where their contributions can make a visible, lasting difference.

Ultimately, it’s not just about supporting our growth  it’s about shared learning, mutual respect, and being part of something bigger than all of us.
