Project Description and Impact
LAFF is a UK-registered charity working in Cusco, Peru, to support access to education for young people from rural and remote communities. Our website is one of our most important tools for reaching international volunteers and supporters, but in its current state it is confusing, outdated, and not serving its purpose. This directly limits our ability to recruit skilled volunteers and fundraise effectively. With limited staff and no in-house web expertise, we urgently need professional support to rebuild our site and strengthen our digital presence.
Learning Opportunity
The experteer will gain hands-on experience in helping a grassroots international development charity overcome a critical challenge. They’ll learn how digital tools directly influence volunteer recruitment and fundraising in a small NGO setting, and see the tangible impact of their work on education opportunities in Peru. They will also collaborate with a passionate, multicultural team and gain insight into the realities of running a small but high-impact charity.
