Social Impact Project for Grant Strategy

Project Description and Impact

Teamup has successfully operated our Apps for Good program for five semesters, serving 90 students across six high schools with measurable outcomes in STEM career preparation and community impact. While we've secured initial foundation funding ($20,000), our grant application success rate remains low, limiting our ability to scale impact. As we prepare for national expansion, we need professional fundraising expertise to develop a sustainable funding strategy that can support our $150,000 annual operational budget and serve 60 students annually. Strategic fundraising guidance will enable us to maximize our proven program model's potential for addressing the critical computer science education gap in underserved communities.

Learning Opportunity

The coach will gain insights into effective STEM education programming models, social impact measurement in educational settings, and nonprofit operations in the emerging computer science education sector. They'll see firsthand how peer-mentorship programs can drive measurable outcomes in both student development and community impact, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities in scaling mission-driven technology education initiatives.
