Project Description and Impact
Key Farmers Cameroon (KFC) is a non-profit rural development organisation incorporated in 2004. Its headquarters are located in Kumba, South West Region of Cameroon. The organisation was created with the purpose of improving the conditions of poor rural subsistence farmers in Cameroon and abroad via education and training in modern farming technologies. Our projects and programs include but not limited to: Biochar production and use in promoting food sustainability and for climate change reduction, vocational education and training, livestock production, women empowerment, protection in emergencies, aquaculture, agroforestry, mushroom cultivation and marketing as well as income-generating activities. KFC has experts in agriculture, livestock, microfinance, education, health etc. These experts reach out in our rural communities to help farmers help themselves.
