Project Description and Impact

You Can Help an Environmental Conservation Organization in the Peruvian Rainforest Grow!

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual to support our environmental education and conservation non-governmental organization in Peru. As a key member of the team, you will help us to continue sustaining our Education Center in the Amazon Jungle. We are looking for a person to help us develop and grow our fundraising program, to have a greater impact in our conservation and education activities.

The Fundraising experteer will assist with fundraising efforts to increase environmental awareness and ultimately grow our community of individual donors. The objective is to spread our conservation message and encourage the world community of supporters to make donations to our organization in order to support our native reforestation, education, research and conservation in the Amazonian cloud forest in Peru.

What are we looking for?

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a proven track record in fundraising who can contribute directly towards researching and applying for various funds. We will, however, consider anyone who feels they have the aptitude and enthusiasm to get involved in aspects of the role e.g. researching, application-writing etc.

We are looking to strengthen our team with one or more volunteer fundraisers to start raising funds for our conservation project in Peru.

This virtual position provides valuable experience for fundraising management, marketing and nonprofit management. This position is suited to individuals with an interest in gaining experience in the nonprofit sector, or in the fundraising and event planning field, and anyone dedicated to the conservation of the native forest at the Amazon.Our organization will provide milestone acknowledgements and reference letters for all volunteers who successfully complete their volunteer placement.
