Social Impact Project for Community Impact Assesment Officer
How This Works
As part of the TRANSFORM Support Hub, you will learn how to advance your career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.
Project Description and Impact
We are an educational institute. Our projects provide electricity to developing communities where traditional electricity is not available by using wind energy. Students and professionals come from all over the world to work together designing, building, and installing these wind generators.
We are looking for a highly motivated Experteer to help us understand the impact small scale wind power have on the community receiving it. You will collect data to demonstrate our impact, if any, and to improve how we work with the communities. This includes spending time in the communities before, during, and after the installations, talking to the community members about their experiences, and documenting feedback using best practices.
Your role will expand based on the anecdotal evidence and results from these full impact assessments.
