Social Impact Project for Make a Bicycle Washing Machine

How This Works

In the MovingWorlds Institute Global Fellowship, you will learn how to advance your for-good career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.

Project Description and Impact

We give injured stray animals a place to heal before they are released back to the street. We also have an organic farm and vegan community house. Work exchange participants and volunteers are vital to making sure that the animals stay healthy and happy, the farm is tended to, and make our community programs thrive.  We have a need for an experteer to help with a simple problem:

Have you ever made a washing machine out of a bicycle?

We haven't.

That's why we need your help! If you have built one before, we need a man-powered laundry machine to do the animal laundry here at Peepal Farm. It is getting too much to do by hand and it takes hours of our volunteers' time.

It should be something like THIS.

This is a great project to do on a short experteering trip or in collaboration with one of the other projects we have posted.
