Social Impact Project for Fundraising Support to Scale Refugee Program Impact in Uganda

Project Description and Impact

Voice for Humanity Uganda is currently implementing Agricultural and Menstrual Health programs targeting Refugee women, girls, Children and Youth. With over 2500 children and Youth already supported through provision of farming skills and tools while over 7500 young school girls have received menstrual health kits and education, the organisation has registered tremndous progress in empowering refugee youth and children. With the current global funding crisis, our work has been negatively affected due to lack of funding. Unfortunately the team has no training in areas of grant writting, impact story telling, marketing and other relevant fundraising skills. This has directly impacted our ability to raise funds to support and scale our programs at the most critical time when our interventions are most needed by the refugees. Getting expert support at this time would grately build the capacity of our staff, increase our income inflow and enable us contionue implementing our programs.

Learning Opportunity

The experteer will be able to have first hand experience of working with refugees and grassroot communities. This is such a fulfilling experience when the experteer sees that their efforts are creating generational impact in the lives of the most vulnerable. We will also be able to have some nature walks and tour around some of our most beautiful gameparks in Uganda. This is an experience any experteer would not want to miss out.
