Opportunity Details

PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND IMPACT

We give injured stray animals a place to heal before they are released back to the street. We also have an organic farm and vegan community house. Work exchange participants and volunteers are vital to making sure that the animals stay healthy and happy, the farm is tended to, and make our community programs thrive.  We have a need for an experteer to help with a simple problem:

Have you ever made a washing machine out of a bicycle or 5 gallon buckets?

We haven't.

That's why we need your help! If you have built one before, we need a man-powered laundry machine to do the animal laundry here at Peepal Farm. It is getting too much to do by hand and it takes hours of our volunteers' time. It can be simple or complex, as long as it works!

It can be something like THIS

...or THIS

Whatever you have experience with! This is a great project to do on a short experteering trip or in collaboration with one of the other projects we have posted.

Great for people with mechanical skills! Interested but not the right length? Like our organization and have an idea how your skills can help us? Message us at: match@movingworlds.org
