Fundraising Experteer to Support Rural Schools in Zimbabwe
Gibeon Energy
Solar my solar is a project that seeks to make impact to rural schools in Zimbabwe that are not connected to the electrical grid. Most of the children are not even empowered to use computers or take ICT studies due to lack of access to energy. The potential impact of these technologies on economic and industrial development is unimaginable.
The challenge to developing countries and governments is the urgent recalibration of their industrial development plans and the creation of a new ecosystems which facilitate early adoption: education will be key.
Science and Technology should be taught from Early Child Development. The new curriculum framework is preparing graduates of education system to have the following skills: problem-solving, critical thinking, good communication skills and technology.
