Social Impact Project for Website Customization To Increase Visibility Of A Wildlife Nonprofit

How This Works

In the MovingWorlds Institute Global Fellowship, you will learn how to advance your for-good career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.

Project Description and Impact

As a small nonprofit, we do not have in-house web design and management expertise. As is typical, we struggle to be visible, generate traffic to our website, and drive conversions. Our current Weebly website, hosted through a third party, is functional but not SEO optimized and does not work well with Google Ads. By enhancing the visibility of our website, we want to attract more sponsors, build brand awareness and diversify our funding streams. We are looking for someone who understands how to structure a nonprofit website to attract more prospective donors, capturing leads for development of relationships and ongoing campaigns. For our situation, this specifically requires knowledge of how to work within the limitations of the Weebly interface to address SEO optimization issues as well as ability to troubleshoot for compliance with Google Ad Grants policies.
