Social Impact Project for Licensing Model Expert to Support Arqlite
How This Works
In the MovingWorlds Institute Global Fellowship, you will learn how to advance your for-good career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.
Project Description and Impact
Developing a licensing model for Arqlite's process to transform unrecyclable plastic waste into Smart Gravel, an artificial stone for the built environment:
Arqlite has been reached out by many companies willing to buy our technology to provide the recycling service for third parties or to manufacture their own Smart Gravel and incorporate it into their products. For example, Smart Gravel can be mixed into concrete and some precasters are interested in producing their own gravel to add to their precast veneers.
Arqlite has currently a small team and has no experience in licensing. This opportunity started to show as one of the biggest potential growth paths for the company and we have no resources to hire a law firm, besides looking into having market feedback before structuring the terms.
