Social Impact Project for Fundraising Expert to Support Access to Sexual Reproductive Health Rights

How This Works

In the MovingWorlds Institute Global Fellowship, you will learn how to advance your for-good career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.

Project Description and Impact

Our organization is a charitable) non-profit that promotes high-quality education, community empowerment, girls' mentorship programs, and talent development. Our group has always worked with the impoverished people in western Kenya to find ways to improve access to sexual and reproductive health information, community empowerment, and educational support. Our resilient youngsters reside in impoverished homes with annual household incomes ranging from $200 to $400.

To accomplish so while adhering to the concept of sustainability, we collaborate with local partners and institutions. We run school mentorship programs, training groups, and help children get involved in school leadership.

Our organization is currently only working in western Kenya, but with the help of a fundraising expert, we hope to expand our programs to other Kenyan communities, allowing more people to improve their living standards.

The main goal of the project is to end forced child marriage, FGM and sexual abuse in some communities in Kenya . This will be achieved through this project that will enable girls to have the opportunity to receive educational and leadership development opportunities, gain access to quality healthcare, develop high self-esteem and to amplify their role as leaders in their communities and beyond.
