STEM METS is bridging the gap in education using creative and innovative learning tools thereby equipping and empowering African children with future ready skills. We are shifting the focus from the current outdated theory-heavy, 'cram and recall' approach to a dynamic, skills-based model that emphasizes practical knowledge and reignites the joy of learning.
Impact Story
Children are in school but not learning in Africa- there is a learning gap ! The quality of teaching and learning is not keeping up with current and future demands leading to poor student engagement and educational outcomes, technological advance is widening the gap and poorly trained qualified teachers to name a few challenges.
Many students are leaving the education system without employable skills to meet the demands of innovation driven future. The consequences are dire-leading to limited economic growth, generational poverty and high rates of unemployment increasing chances for radicalization - the root cause of the problem is the quality of education
