Project Description and Impact

We are a nonprofit working in Kenya to end violence against women and girls in public transport industry by influencing behavioural change and promote tolerance and acceptance by strengthening capacities at the grassroots level in communities. Our vision is to create an impactful, sustainable and safe society where women and girls live peaceful and fulfilled lives.Our pillars of focus are workforce development, prevention of sexual violence and harassment and women in transportation.

We currently run a Women in Transport program with a group of approx. 60 women working in the Nairobi metropolitan area. We're seeking an experteer's support in developing a membership benefits package for the group to help increase our impact.

An in-depth understanding of the transport industry/ mobility issues in Kenya, opportunity to work with women professionals in the public transport industry and develop and implement a membership package based on their needs. The personnel will work with women members to help them independently run the membership program. This is a great way to gain hands-on experience in a grassroots social enterprise on the front lines of meaningful social change.
