Project Description and Impact

Voices for Children has 79 employees and more than 1,000 volunteers who are located in two different Counties in Southern California. Like many nonprofits, VFC operates with a lean budget, and until just a few weeks ago, we have only ever had one staff member in our HR Department. We recently hired an HR Coordinator, but our team is still beyond their capacity. We would love F5’s support to create an HR manual that will detail our HR procedures in clear and concise language.

Learning Opportunity

While many are familiar with the concept of foster care, understanding the challenges that child in the foster care system encounter every day is eye-opening. Our work with children in foster care can be heart-wrenching, but we also see the amazing things that children can accomplish when they have the support they need. The Experteer who partners with Voices for Children will have the opportunity to be part of the transformative work that VFC CASAs are doing every day in the lives of these children.
