Project Description and Impact

Southern Cameroons make up 20% of the population of the Cameroons. They are being slaughtered by the French-speaking dominated government of La Republique du Cameroun. A strike started by the English Speaking Southern Cameroonians/Ambazonians in October 2016 against marginalization has now morphed into a full-scale genocide with daily killings by government soldiers.

Available statistics indicate that over 15,000 people have been killed; over 400 villages have been burnt down; at least 8 documented grandparents burnt alive in their homes. With nowhere to turn to, peaceful villagers now hide in the bushes, and well over 100.0000 people have crossed into Nigeria as refugees. More information about this crisis can be found here:
