Social Impact Project for Online Creative Marketing and Sales Experteer
Project Description and Impact
Our organization empowers women's artisan cooperatives, providing skills-building workshops and access to the market through our Fair Trade Store in town, thereby allowing women to earn a reliable income. Our Sustainable Tourism Program works to connect women, families and the rural poor with the economic opportunities that tourism brings.
We are currently operating an online merchandise store selling primarily to the U.S. market. However, the store is underutilized and is not a strong source of sales due to a lack of staff resources as well as expertise in online sales. We would like to host an individual who is able to "makeover" the online store in a way that increases online traffic as well as sales in order to support the women with whom we work.
Dates are flexible.
The Experteer will have the chance to learn more about small, local and international non-profit work. They will also gain an understanding of fashion, production, and fine arts from its local and historical root. One can also learn about online sales, design, etc.
For Kering Group employees, accommodation will be provided close to the work location.
For all other applicants, you will need to find provide your own accommodation.
For Kering employees, we will provide 3 meals a day.
For all other applicants, you will need to provide your own meals.

- We will also include a rural tourism day. The Experteer can accompany a group we already have going up to our weaving cooperative that lives up in the mountains above town.
