Project Description and Impact

Zaida Agri-Solutions aims to empower smallholder African farmers for food-secure systems. We do this through upcycling of organic waste into organic fertilizer and animal feeds, while providing training on regenerative agriculture. We believe that inputs alone can't do the trick.

We would like to be able to tell the story of our work, and our engagement with these farmers, and connect it to ongoing efforts at organic farming and regenerative agriculture.

We started creating a WordPress site. However, we haven't really worked on it beyond that. We would appreciate it if we could get a fully functional website that we could then update on our own going forward, and help to create a community of regenerative agriculture enthusiasts that also contribute knowledge/articles/blogs to our blog section to enrich the knowledge and create an ecosystem of local actors. This material would then be available to others as well in multimedia format, or text, etc.

We think that this would provide a very good opportunity to engage with many people engaged in the sector but who aren't as visible as they might like. It would also support our fundraising efforts, as most donors would like to be able to see our story.
