Social Impact Project for Business Development for New Revenue Stream
Project Description and Impact
We are a social enterprise working with smallholder farmers on multiple levels. Using technology and an innovative logistics, technical assistance and e-commerce platform, we connect smallholder farmers in rural Colombia to a consumer base in urban cities.
Currently, we're looking to diversify our revenue streams by using our wicking bed technology to create urban gardens and sell them to real estate companies in the city. Diversifying the revenue streams will help us lower our business risk and increase stability.
By participating in the MovingWorlds Institute, you will first learn social impact frameworks and human-centered design before putting your existing skills and new knowledge to action. In addition, this organization will expose you to new things, like:

Our headquarter is based at Santa Elena; which is the rural sector of Medellin where the flowers festival happen. Working at siembraviva the expert will have the chance to get to know small farmers and have the chance to get to know the real rural sector of Colombia.
