Project Description and Impact

We kicked off our pre-seed stage at the beginning of 2023 with $700,000 in financing. We compiled a team, built an MVP, onboarded government user across 3 states, served 120K students, and generated $165K in revenue. We have received recognition attesting to the strength of our work. Fast Company named THRIVE!’s Just Budget Algorithm as the #1 Social Justice Innovation for the 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards. We also won: HP Prize for Advancing Digital Equity, MIT Solve’s Global Challenge, Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge, Morgan Stanley Social Justice Innovation Award, and fellowships from Roddenberry Foundation, Halcyon, Camelback and Harvard Kennedy School. Our work has been featured in Boston Globe, Washington Business Journal, and Nasdaq.com.
