Project Description and Impact

Our organization is leading a national awareness-raising campaign to highlight the challenges faced by asylum seekers in Ireland. While we are coordinating the campaign, it is being delivered in collaboration with a coalition of organizations across the country, all committed to promoting dignity, justice, and fair treatment for people seeking international protection.

The campaign includes a dedicated WordPress website and active social media channels, with the goal of engaging the public, shaping public discourse, and building solidarity with asylum seekers. However, despite strong early momentum, the campaign has stalled. With limited internal capacity—just one person responsible for all of our organization’s communications and campaigns—we are now seeking expert support to help reinvigorate the campaign’s digital presence.

We are looking for a digital media expert to bring a fresh perspective, assess where the campaign currently stands, and support us in refining our strategy. This includes reviewing our website and social media, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement, and co-developing a refreshed approach that reflects the urgency and importance of the campaign.

This project offers a unique opportunity for a volunteer to apply their digital media expertise to a meaningful, real-world campaign that impacts the lives of asylum seekers and refugees to Ireland.
