Project Description and Impact

Sanjhi Sikhiya Foundation, established in 2018, is committed to transforming the quality of public education in Punjab by strengthening grassroots governance, community participation and nurturing youth leadership. Our work currently reaches over 28,000 children, has mobilized 10,000+ youth, and actively engages 350+ government schools and 500+ village communities in improving school governance and learning outcomes.

This growing movement has been made possible by a diverse base of 8,000+ donors which includes individual supporters, institutional funders, and CSR partners. However, despite this momentum, our internal systems have not kept pace with our external growth.

Until 2023, we had no central mechanism to manage donor information and their engagement. All fundraising efforts were conducted manually by program staff, often using basic spreadsheets. With no dedicated fundraising team or digital system in place, donor engagement, reporting, and strategic planning have remained limited, resulting in knowledge gaps, inefficiencies, and a missed opportunity to build deeper relationships with our supporters.

As we work toward our 10-year milestone in 2028, we have set an ambitious goal: to raise ₹50 crore in the next three years to scale our programs and deepen our impact across Punjab.

To achieve this, we urgently need a robust, well-designed Donor Management System (DMS) that can:

Centralize donor data and interactions,
Enable better engagement and retention,
Inform strategic decision-making, and
Empower a broader team to participate in fundraising.

We are seeking support to help us design and implement this system, so that we can unlock the full potential of our donor network and channel their support more effectively toward improving educational outcomes at scale.
