Project Description and Impact

Kenya Connect is seeking to diversify our revenue stream through raising money in Kenya instead of just the United States. We also want people to come see our project site (we are 2 hours from Nairobi) since we know that when people visit, they are amazed by the scope of our work. The Running to Read Festival has been a wonderful way to celebrate students and our work to build a culture of reading. We want to expand the race to invite individual runners to join us.

Learning Opportunity

The Experteer can learn about a fantastic NGO that is working with 71 rural schools in Kenya to provide children with options so they have new pathways in life. Our talented team are passionate about the work and reach over 18,000 students, 500 teachers and parents on a yearly basis. They will also see how our staff is open to learning and are seeking guidance on how to expand the event.
