Project Description and Impact

The Global Peace Dividend Initiative is a proposal for international negotiations to reduce military spending by 2% per year in all countries in order to liberate funds to fight climate change and other planetary emergencies. The proposal was backed by over 50 Nobel laureates, the presidents of several Academies of Sciences, and other leading intellectuals who launched an appeal to all peoples and their governments. We are a young initiative that seeks to rapidly grow awareness of our cause, organization, and efforts and drive engagement and donations.
