Project Description and Impact

Help support social enterprises in India as well as get career coaching and social entrepreneurship training in either 2 or 6 weeks.

Following a successful pilot programme in November in Kenya, we are recruiting volunteer Social Enterprise Consultants for 2015, who we will train to support the learning of a group of young grassroots social entrepreneurs. In our 2 weeks immersion experience you will be fully supported and will be part of an international team all going on this journey together. This is in part a career coaching experience for you, as we will create the space for you to figure out your own career goals but at the same time you will gain unrivalled hands on experience in the world of social enterprise overseas. Over 6 weeks you'll go deeper into the launch cycle and work more on your own business ideas.

We are designing human-centred programmes that see the growth of social enterpreneurship in hard to reach places. And are looking for people to join us!

We do this by connecting and collaborating with talented people. We take career changers and career breakers, post-grads and sabbaticalists, corporate learners and freelancers to amazing places, to work alongside hard to reach young talent, to develop social impact businesses. In turn we help you get equipped to either launch your own game changing start up, bring social innovation into your work or move into the sector.

_What you would do.

* Get trained by us in social entrepreneurship and start-up methodologies

* Provide support and mentorship to grassroots social entrepreneurs

* Live in an exotic location (escaping the British winter!)

* Get coached in order to help you unearth your own passions and values to discover what the right career is for you

We will equip you with a toolkit that teaches you about global social entrepreneurship and problem solving - and together we'll design a plan for how to work with existing young social entrepreneurs. Yes! In two weeks.

Learning Opportunity

You will learn how to launch a business! And a social impact business to boot. It can be a product or service, but either way you will gain the confidance to take the next step in your own start-up journey, or we'll give you a space to think about what it is you really want to do.

As well as that you will immerse yourselve into a new culture, meet interesting people who are changing the world for the better, and you'll get to share your story across our blog and social media platforms.

You'll pick up new marketing and branding skills as well as gain a broader world view and inner confidance.

Accommodation

Our accommodation is provided as part of the programme fee. It can vary in terms of whether its a guest house or apartment, but either way we guarantee that it will always be comfortable!
