Project Description and Impact

We are humans helping animals. We operate a stray animal recovery center and organic farm, located In the foothills of the Himalayas in the village of Dhanotu, Near Dharamsala,India. 

We rescue, treat & alleviate pain of injured animals, while practicing a lifestyle of sustainability & responsible consumption. We use only what we need.

We are looking for a filmmaker to make videos related to our philosophy and work! Our topics include veganism, animal rights, sustainability, and reducing our suffering footprint.

Learning Opportunity

By participating in the MovingWorlds Institute, you will first learn social impact frameworks and human-centered design before putting your existing skills and new knowledge to action.

Living Stipend

Need-based stipend is available for experteers staying over 3 months.

Food Stipend

3 vegan north Indian meals per day, and chai!

Additional Benefits

We give people a chance to see Dharamsala while making a difference. Our staff and residents are knowledgeable about the area, and can help arrange transportation and give directions. We have community spaces with a library, a clothing and book exchange, and wifi. Experteers also get an opportunity to meet locals and share their culture.
