Experteer to Support Cloud-Based Solution for Voices for Children

Voices for Children has 79 employees who work in a hybrid environment that includes working from home, on site at our offices in San Diego and Riverside Counties, and out in the community at child welfare meetings and court hearings.

The challenges and limitations of the current system include: cost of maintaining hosted servers, security risks, antiquated systems, and lack of training and exposure to cloud-based software. We need to find a cloud-based solution that reduces the potential for human error, ensures security and confidentiality, and supports the wide-ranging needs of various teams. Our staff members are of all ages, and we have varying degrees of comfortability with technology.

Learning Opportunity

While many are familiar with the concept of foster care, understanding the challenges that child in the foster care system encounter every day is eye-opening. Our work with children in foster care can be heart-wrenching, but we also see the amazing things that children can accomplish when they have the support they need. The experteer who partners with Voices for Children will have the opportunity to be part of the transformative work that VFC CASAs are doing every day in the lives of these children.
