Social Impact Project for Web Designer
How This Works
As part of the TRANSFORM Support Hub, you will learn how to advance your career while getting hands on experience on projects like this one.
Project Description and Impact
Our organization empowers women's artisan cooperatives, providing skills-building workshops and access to the market through our Fair Trade Store in town, thereby allowing women to earn a reliable income. Our Sustainable Tourism Program works to connect women, families and the rural poor with the economic opportunities that tourism brings.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate and has extensive experience in web designing for a small merchandise store that makes sales internationally. The goal of this opportunity is to improve and transform the layout of our site where artisan products that are made by the cooperatives are sold to increase sales, better communicate the story behind the product, and create a creative and appealing layout to involve potential customers.
Dates are flexible. Experteers typically come for 2-4 weeks, but depending on the project longer time frames can be considered.
