Project Description and Impact

United Way of King County is interested in hosting a large-scale volunteer event in South King County to bring needed resources to families and children ahead of the school year. While this is not the first time we have hosted a large event of this nature, we are looking for volunteer consultant support to assist in making this event high impact, low cost and with high branding visibility. Operating costs of hosting such an event can exceed budget, so we are looking for support in developing creative and innovative ways to get materials and sevices donated without sacrificing quality. We would be excited to partner with a volunteer that can help us research, plan and develop a roadmap to achieve a successful, community-centric event.

Learning Opportunity

The experteer will receive a deep education of United Way of King County's community programs, have the opportunity to provide support in getting lower income families and children materials and services, and learn how nonprofits operate within our shared community.
