Project Description and Impact

Sistech aims to enhance its impact strategies by obtaining a detailed understanding of the refugee women population across Europe. Currently, there is a lack of consolidated data on the number, distribution, and demographics of refugee women in each European country. This information is crucial for tailoring our programs to effectively address the unique needs of refugee women in different regions. Without this data, our ability to allocate resources efficiently and design targeted interventions is limited.

Learning Opportunity

The Experteer will gain valuable insights into:

Humanitarian Data Analysis & Policy Impact: Understanding how demographic data directly influences impact strategies, policy recommendations, and program design for refugee inclusion.
Navigating Complex & Fragmented Data Sources: Engaging with international databases, UNHCR reports, Eurostat, national refugee agencies, and local NGOs to piece together a comprehensive picture of refugee women across Europe.
Cross-Cultural & Gender-Focused Perspectives: Gaining exposure to the unique barriers and opportunities for refugee women in the digital workforce, offering a gender-sensitive perspective on migration and integration.
Practical Application of Research & Visualization: Developing reports, dashboards, and insights that will be directly used to inform stakeholders, funders, and policymakers.
