Project Description and Impact
When schools are out for the summer, families that rely on free and reduced meals at school to help feed their families, often turn to their local food pantry or meal program. By participating in Food Frenzy, F5 will help to raise valuable funds that are used to stock the shelves of these food pantries and meal programs across Western Washington so that kids and families have access to the nutritious foods they need to thrive.
Learning Opportunity
They will learn about food insecurity in our region.They will learn how to leverage their event planning and sales skills to effectively raise funds for local non-profits.
