Project Description and Impact
Our organisation recently re-structured our information architecture with the help of F5 volunteers. Over the last year, we have been improving our system of organising and archiving information to preserve historical records and ensure that staff are able to access needed information.
We would like to explore different ways of archiving receipts and other documents required by our funders. Since we are required to store recepts for at least 5 years, we need to identify ways to do this that won't consume huge amounts of space.
We also would like to develop a policy for procuring items needed by the organisation. This would help us source items in a cost-efficient way. In addition, some funders require their grantees to have a well-thought through procurement policy.
Learning Opportunity
The experteer will learn about our journey transiting from a complete paper-based system of information archiving to a partial digital system.
We are also happy to share more about our work supporting girls' and women's STEM journeys through training and mentorship.
