Project Description and Impact

We are an Atlanta-based start-up company that brings together a network of successful businesses led by women and people of color to accelerate business growth so that we cultivate a thriving ecosystem supported by business financing and a supportive community.

We opened doors in 2017 and our staff size is growing a little faster now. We are seeking a Human Resources Exeperteer to help complete our Employee Handbook and assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures for Onboarding. This position is ideal for professionals with a lot of exposure and experience in the Startup Ecosystem.

We're looking for an energetic, detailed, organized, high frequency, compassionate, out-of-the-box thinker to support our amazing team. We are a very dedicated, purpose-driven team - small, but mighty. Currently, our handbook is in a development stage and really needs to be completed to best serve our staff and protect our company. With our small team, having supporting docs or other locations for them to access info on their own is a huge win. The SOPs for onboarding will help us ensure we create an optimal situation to set our new employees up for success.

By supporting us in our HR needs, you directly impact staff engagement, their ability to reference information as it relates to their employment, and provide legal support for the business -- especially as we continue to grow our staff. Ultimately, it will further our mission to have long-standing employees and reduce the potential for turnover.

We are aiming to have someone start on this in December 2020 or Jan 2021 and this can be a 2-3 month project.
