Project Description and Impact

We are currently running an innovative educational project to inspire disadvantaged youth through space science that will culminate in building and sending a small satellite into space.

However, due to the COVID-19 situation and the desire to expand the project further, we are planning to deliver the theoretical part of the curriculum in the form of online classes. Also, we are planning to launch online-only content as well as program a series of lectures by renowned scientists especially directed to refugee students, followed up by a live Q&A session.

We are also developing partnerships that would allow our students to receive additional online educational opportunities like English classes with native speakers, professional and educational one-to-one mentoring, etc. We are also in the process of developing an educational App.

We believe by enabling our educational program in online form, we will give thousands of students all over the world an opportunity to participate in our innovative space science program.

We are a dedicated team of experienced professionals in fields of science, education, technology, public policy, and event and project management, but we have a limited expertise in educational technological and IT.

We are looking for guidance and training from an IT systems professional on how to construct our online resources for students in a way that supports student engagement and facilitates the upload of content and student-teacher interaction. Experience in education/streaming related projects would be a great plus.

We are especially looking for support developing:

Choosing the best platform for online education (in terms of accessibility, interactivity, facilitation of content creation and manipulation);
The best integration/agglomeration of different technological solutions to address the needs of our organisation;
Possibly supporting our team with App features development and integration with educational content.
