Project Description and Impact

We are seeking an inspiring and creative Web Designer to work on an existing website and collaborate with our team to re-imagine and recreate it in a more user-friendly and exciting way. We’d like to make our site relate more to the current output of our organization and recognize the history, purpose, mission and vision, including a calendar of upcoming events. With intermittent and random access to the internet, we need our website to be the “go-to” site for people in the Tanzania area who want to know what’s happening and what to look forward to in their communities.

Fortunately, a significant amount of text, video, audio, and still photography exists for you to vet and use to make the website relatable and make a huge impact on locals. With additional knowledge of the digital and social media platforms that we use, your help analyzing and refining our online presence via our website would be beneficial to attract attendees to our events and generate curiosity by potential funders and/or sponsors to drive interest. Your experience and expertise in capturing a larger audience who may not have internet or computer access would be of great value to communicate in different and/or inventive ways.
