Project Description and Impact

Jibu aims to become a data-driven organization. Using sales data, franchise insights and customer data to make better decisions. At the moment, we are at a critical cross-road whereby we are preparing ourselves for scale. In order to manage growth and scale, we are in need of structured data management tools, dashboards, and insights. All of our sales data is integrated into ERP next, however this tool is not yet available on mobile phones. 

Mobile devices have become ubiquitous, providing a convenient and readily accessible platform for users. By making our data management tools available on mobile devices, we ensure that users can access and interact with our platform anytime, anywhere, facilitating real-time decision-making and enhancing overall productivity. Furthermore, a mobile version allows us to tailor the user interface to the unique characteristics of mobile devices, creating a more intuitive and streamlined experience. This optimization improves user satisfaction and reduces the learning curve, enabling individuals with varying levels of technical expertise to efficiently utilize our platform.

Learning Opportunity

We are an innovative, fast scaling social franchise operating in developing countries. The challenges faced by our end-user can be different than what is in developing countries, and solutions need to be localized to our context. Experts at Jibu may learn innovative ways to optimize technology solutions to function efficiently in low-resource environments. This includes designing systems that use minimal power, are data-efficient, or can work with limited internet connectivity. Jibu's projects often require collaboration with professionals from diverse backgrounds, such as business, logistics, and community development. Lastly, unique challenges faced by Jibu in serving underserved communities can foster strong problem-solving skills.
