Description and Impact
We are a social enterprise that cares about and for women coming out of exploitation, and human trafficking. We have employed over 130 women and has served thousands through our community outreach services. We help women experience freedom, establish independence, and develop careers through life skills and specialized vocational training such as design, photography, and accounting.
We are looking for an inventory specialist to develop an official inventory strategy that will help us audit and monitor our stock across three different warehouses.
Deliverables
Help our management team analyze our current inventory system then develop a strong and sustainable long-term inventory strategy that will work across our three branches in two different countries.
With the development of a sustainable inventory strategy, you will help a mid-sized social enterprise expand over the course of the next five year to hire more women who are leaving exploitation and trafficking. You will work directly with our Founder and CEO, leadership team and inventory manager, who is in our after-care program.

Accommodation
For Kering Group employees, accommodation will be provided by a member of the Starfish Project Leadership Team, within 10-15 minutes of our office. You will also be within an hour of all the major city landmarks in Beijing.
For all other applicants, you will need to find provide your own accommodation.

You will have the opportunity to use your skills to directly benefit women and girl escaping human trafficking and exploitation. Additionally, you will learn about the structures of our unique social enterprise and how we empower women in China. This is also an amazing opportunity to visit China, learn about the culture and enhance your knowledge of businesses in China.
Food Stipend
Applicants coming through the Solidarity Leave Program from Kering Foundation will have a food stipend for the duration of the project.
