Project Description and Impact

We have always been a - proudly - distributed network but have, after 10+ years we see the pains of being unable to aggregate data across our network of diverse contexts, systems, attitudes, capabilities. And we have never had a strong tech backbone and made a lot of naive mistakes with tech systems.Our network is 112 Impact Hubs who have communities of social entrepreneurs and we want to better provide access to these entrepreneurs to opportunities in social procurement and access to capital, and for that we - as the global team - need access to the information of the relevant members of our local Impact Hubs and also be able to aggregate it according to stage of enterprise, impact goal, needs etc.We held a workshop last year with some internal and external experts and this led us to starting to design a data architecture and move away from a one system solution but we are stuck - in knowledge and in resourcing - in how to realise it.We'd like to be able to provide data and aggregated intelligence on our global members for SAP's social procurement initiative, for potential impact funders, for policymakers and for our own network knowledge in how to keep supporting these communities across the world.
