Social Impact Project for Donor Engagement & Fundraising Strategy
Project Description and Impact
As we continue to see a rise in people coming to our food bank, we also need an increasing number of resources, the chief of which is funds in order to increase our capacity. While our current fundraising has met our needs so far, we want to level up our efforts so we can hire staff, buy necessary equipment, and eventually move into a larger premises to help more people.
Currently we have a one-person communications, marketing, and fundraising team for our food bank. In order to use our resources efficiently, we need a fundraising strategy to prioritize what will impact our work the most. Our most immediate need is operations fundraising, but we need to learn more about how to fundraise for a large multi-million dollar capital campaign for a new building.
You can expect to learn about donor engagement and management, copywriting for fundraising support, and how to effectively fundraise for larger projects.
