This is your opportunity to work directly with innovative, community-led social enterprises around the world working to make access to health, hygiene, and nutrition a right — not a privilege. Sign up to volunteer as a mentor and use your knowledge and skills to help social businesses solve some of the world's most pressing challenges.
The Accelerate Hub is a key element of Reckitt’s Fight for Access Accelerator, and can connect any Reckitt employee globally to virtually volunteer with an organisation accelerating access to the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
The Accelerate Hub provides a one stop shop for Reckitt mentors to identify and support social enterprises, and the functionality of the platform makes it easy to work directly and communicate effectively within an agreed timeframe.

We are looking for a balance of employees to participate with diverse representation across markets, BUs, functions, and volunteer experience. We will then factor in employee responses to the following questions: Why do you want to be involved with this opportunity?
The Social Impact and Partnerships team will review all applications and select those most suitable.
Yes, we will develop a wait list in case employees who are accepted into the Accelerate Hub cannot complete it.
We expect the following time commitments will be
necessary:
All regular full time and part-time employees, with at least 2 years of work experience – no matter the location, tenure, role, or level – are eligible to apply.
No. In fact, if you have never volunteered before, we would welcome your application! We want to offer our social enterprise partners a diverse mix of Reckitt employee experience, and that includes volunteering experience.
We would recommend discussing with your line manager before applying to ensure they are aligned with the time commitment. There is no formal process for this and it is the responsibility of the Reckitt employee to agree before starting on the programme.
Each employee at Reckitt is entitled to 2 days volunteering per year, through Give Time. Any time above this is subject to line manager agreement and sign off.
We sincerely hope that does not happen, but we understand there may be extenuating circumstances. Please reach out to Milly Dawson in the Social Impact and Partnerships team to discuss next steps with you.
Yes. There is a mandatory but brief survey to complete at the end of each volunteer's project to ensure a) employees and social enterprise’s needs were met during the project and b) we gather all learnings in order to improve future programming.
Please think holistically about all the different skills and expertise you could bring to a social enterprise – not just what you are currently responsible for at Reckitt.
Social Enterprises will register their project(s) and similarly Reckitt employee volunteers will register their skills on the MovingWorlds platform. Employee volunteers should proactively search out projects that match their skill set and contact social enterprises directly to see if they are a match. MovingWorlds staff will also help step in and match projects and volunteers, if there are signs social enterprises or employees are not connecting or locating matching projects.
You have a choice! Employee volunteers will register on the MovingWorlds platform to discover projects and connect with social enterprises directly. The employee and the social enterprise will mutually agree to complete the project together.

The Accelerate Hub is a key initiative within Reckitt’s commitment to accelerating social enterprises. We believe we can have the most impact when acting as a catalyst for social innovation, harnessing the power of business with the goal of accelerating access to health and hygiene for 1.5 million people. By doing so, we can improve people's lives whilst also unlocking new opportunities to grow our business and increasing our positive impact on the planet. Find out more about our flagship Fight for Access Accelerator here.
Social enterprises combine business efficiency with social impact. By accelerating the growth of start-up health and hygiene social businesses, we can leverage the multiplier effect and address the access gap, whilst also driving economic growth, creating jobs and reducing poverty.
And by working with entrepreneurs that inherently understand the needs of their communities, we can reach people with solutions that work.
