Organization Details
CIWY is a Bolivian organization that works in defense of animal rights and environmental justice; it was founded in 1992. It manages three wild animal refuges in different parts of the Bolivian Amazon. Work at the refuges is dedicated to caring for, rehabilitating and re-releasing where possible a wide range of rescued species. CIWY is also devoted to the education of environmental awareness within the country's youth.
