We are a last mile distributor that provides affordable solar energy to remote communities in Central America.
We are addressing the energy issue through a market-based approach distributing solar products through an existing network of rural retailers. In 2016, we aim to start selling products with PAYG technology embedded, through an ecosystem of distributors, installers and local entrepreneurs that manage installation and service.

Impact Story
To date, we have distributed approximately 7000 solar lamps and 1200 solar home systems. Based on our market research and a small survey of a 100 household sample, we have determined that we save households an average of $12 dollars per month in disposable batteries and paying to charge cell phones.
Based on the assumption that the average household has 5 members, we have positively impacted 41,000 lives thanks to cost savings, increased study time for students, and increased income for micro-entrepreneurs.
