At Chanja Datti our core value is our ability to provide an organized system for extracting recyclable materials from all over Nigeria. We collect plastic waste and other recyclables like aluminum cans, papers and transform them into commercially viable semi raw materials (pellets, flakes or bales). We make money by selling the recycled materials to local and international off-takers/manufacturers for use.
Impact Story
At Chanja Datti, we recycle plastic waste into recycled pellets & flakes that have become sought after, cost-efficient semi raw materials. We also contribute to income distribution and sustainable circular economy.
Since our inception, we've diverted and processed from landfills and waterways over 10,000,000 kg of recyclable waste resulting in 39,101 MT/month of avoided CO2E emissions, created over 200 green jobs, empowered 1,000 women through our WREI program, supported 5,000+ waste pickers and 800 out-of-school children attended school. Also as part of our global strategy, in 2024 we expanded our client base to include recycling companies in Europe and Asia.
