Organization Details
We support bees for healthy ecosystems. Our educational programs bring people closer to the world of honey bees and wild bees. We use them to raise awareness of the major ecological connections and create an awareness of bees as the key to biodiversity. We teach ecological beekeeping for the respectful treatment of honey bees. The diverse habitats we create contribute to the conservation of wild bees.
Impact Story
Just like climate protection, bee conservation is a task for society as a whole. In order to bring about far-reaching change, cooperation between civil society, business and politics is essential. We therefore deliberately address various target groups such as private individuals, companies and schools and support individual political initiatives. We communicate measures to protect animals and the environment locally and also raise awareness of the wider ecological context.
Bees - in their diversity - make an important contribution to the stability and resilience of our terrestrial ecosystems. Through their ability to pollinate plants, they play a key role in our global ecosystem. If all bee species have sufficient habitat and food, they can ensure the pollination of many different plant species at any time of year.
