Organization Details
India’s Anganwadi childcare centers are already focused on nutrition and health, but their leaders often haven’t been properly trained and supported. FMCH is out to end preventable child malnutrition by supporting the Anganwadi system. They support Anganwadi workers to do 1:1 nutrition counseling, equip them with digital tools, and make sure they’re motivated and supported by supervision.
Impact Story
FMCH has impacted over 10 lakh families indirectly and over 2 lakh families directly. They have worked with over 1500 Anganwadis in the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka – bringing down malnutrition among children from 25% to under 5% in these communities. They are expanding rapidly into newer geographies.
