The Change Society Needs is a dedicated community-based organization located in Kabarole District that is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children, women, and young adults in different communities. Through our comprehensive training programs, educational workshops, community dialogues, and ongoing support services, we empower communities to come up with solutions to their problems.
Our team of experienced professionals work tirelessly to address the unique needs of each individual we serve, ensuring that they have the tools and resources necessary to thrive.
Impact Story
At The Change Society Needs we support communities to identify and tackle critical issues they face from the ground up. As a youth led organisation, we believe communities members know how to go about their problems.
We are currently working with a group of teenage mothers in Kabarole District, Karangura Sub County. These women were pregnanted while at school by men who promised them to provide them with their needs like sanitary pad, but after making them pregnant, they dispeared leaving the young girls to struggle with the pregnancy and providing for the kids. In our engagements with them, they formed a savings group to save money for their children, we supported them in vegitable growing to improve on their nutrition and income generating. All these solutions are owned by this group of young mothers.
