Impact Story

72% of international development organizations believe that M&E and data collection is a challenge. We created Poket because we saw a pressing need to democratize data collection, making it accessible and meaningful for communities around the world. Our mission is grounded in the belief that everyone, regardless of their location or resources, should have the tools to document and share their reality. Through our mobile app and web platform, we've made strides in turning this vision into reality, enabling on self-reported and community-based data collection all over the world. This approach not only gathers data but also empowers individuals to actively participate in research and decisions that affect their lives.

Our collaborations with organizations like CARE, BRAC, and Johns Hopkins have been pivotal in amplifying our impact. With CARE, we've enabled women in Uganda to report on financial practices, directly contributing to their empowerment and economic independence. In Bangladesh, our work with BRAC has supported health initiatives, reaching communities often overlooked by traditional data collection methods. Our partnership with Johns Hopkins on malaria prevention highlights our commitment to addressing global health challenges through community-led data collection. These initiatives embody our belief in the power of self-reported data to foster change, providing communities with the tools they need to advocate for themselves and shape their future.
